joyfuel introduction

Hello. I’m Becky, a behind the scenes JOYFUeL fairy, dreaming up ways to share more kindness, creativity and JOY with you. I offer this site for YOU (and me) because WE deserve more moments of JOY. Most of us don’t make or take time for enough of ’em, so here I am–dreaming and playing–hoping to love and lift you more fully into your joy potential.

As of right now, I am working on two projects for our joy…

These are called Joyfuel Mindful Moments. You can see some of them here. https://www.facebook.com/pg/joyfuelway/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1807806975973095

Project #2: The forthcoming Joyfuel Kindcast–an audio magazine sharing conversations and shining the light on youth and adults all around the world working for kindness, creativity and… can you guess? Yup!!! JOY! Your nominations for guests welcome here. https://joyfuel.org/nominate/

I’m so glad you are here… on earth right now, and on this little site dedicated to your JOY.

a joyfuel wish

Dear KindHearts,

I’m making a wish… a wish for our collective JOY. Human Joy is something we need to cultivate, nurture and protect; our personal joy and the joy of others.

My wish is truly for your joy.

Acting towards my wish I’m working super hard behind the scenes on the JOYFUeL Kindcast–a podcast series coming out later this year–all for JOY! How does this description sound? Does it sound like something you’d enJOY? Appreciate your input 🙂

The Joyfuel Kindcast is an independent podcast series sharing personal stories of people intentionally generating kindness or creativity anywhere on earth. We uplift ideas, thoughts and actions that increase human and global kindness, creativity, presence and joy.

much love for our joy,

Who Who on the Joyfuel Kindcast Season Two

Dear Joyfuellers,

When the Joyfuel ecourse came out in 2014 I acted on impulse and instinct and pieced together an interview series featuring people who are committed to living their lives infused by the essences of joy, kindness and creativity. The series the JOYFUEL KINDCAST operated on the currency of LOVE necessitating.experimentation with different FREE recording platforms and modalities. The result was the first season of the Joyfuel Kindcast. I am deeply grateful to everyone who committed their time, thoughts  and lives to share with me and listeners in our little video series.

I learned so much in the process; about creativity, music, kindness, art, and also about the act of making something as meaningful as possible with very limited resources… learning about good enough for LOVE and GIFT. Together we made and shared something very special.

Season TWO of the Joyfuel Kindcast is now gestating. For our new season I pass the producer’s role to you! WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO HEAR ON THE NEXT SEASON OF JOYFUEL KINDCAST?  We want to feature your neighbors, teachers, friends—perhaps even YOU–on the program. We are looking for YOUTH and adults from all over our world. Please take a moment to think and fill out this form to submit your nomination for the Joyfuel Kindcast. (Be sure to hit “Submit” at the bottom of the page.)

Thank you SO MUCH for your ideas and suggestions!

In Joy,
Becky j. Suzik

one day (music video)

Dear Hearts,

On Valentine’s Day 3,000 people of different religious faiths gathered to celebrate coexistence and sing Matisyahu’s prayerful song, One Day. This collaboration and video offers an incredible example of the power of community and song, combined with vision.
We can transcend our differences to cocreate one vision of peace, love and acceptance on Earth. Starting inside my own heart, One Day can be today.  May it be so.

All my life I´ve been waiting for
I´ve been praying for
For the people to say
That we don´t wanna fight no more
They´ll be no more wars
And our children will play
One day (one day), One day (one day)

Discovering Our Gifts (video)

Hello Dearhearts!

Last year so many people cheered me on and backed my attendance at the Appalachian State Expressive Arts Therapy Institute, in North Carolina. Thank you so very much! Because of kindness and generosity –and my husband’s holding of the fort   — I was given time and space to deepen my own heART practice, to study Joanna Macy’s work Active Hope–among the many other en spirited offerings of the Institute.

Infused by my heARTfull mountain experience I wrote and gave a talk about our super powers. In this 7 minute excerpt I talk about the power of “Our Gifts” . I share this with the prayer that we each remember and discover the powerful gifts we have to live and give!

Because of you, I am.
becky suzik

Thank you to UU Peace Fellowship of Raleigh for the opportunity to share my heART in this talk. And I hold deep gratitude always to my many teachers including Joanna Macy and those attending and creating the Appalachian State Expressive Art Institute.

sing your song

Dear Heart,

♪ ♫ Right now I have a few songs in my heart: one is any song “Moana” sings. 🙂 Another is any song reminding us of the gifts we have to give the world. I intend my song to be JOYFUeL — heART and words to inspire greater joy and deeper meaning in our lives. Happy Monday dear Friends. Bring forth your gifts! And if you don’t quite know what they are… whistle around the things you find curious. ♪ ♫

♪ ♫ We each have a song we must sing, be it with our voices or our lives. What is YOUR song, Beautiful? If you want to share, please post below in the open space.  ♪ ♫

<3 Let’s give a moment to your Joy: Do you plant love as seed? How? (If you like, post your seeds below.)  <3

For me right now, it’s looking at pictures of doggies who need homes–we have a gaping dog vacancy in ours. It’s putting a little surprise piece of chocolate in my children’s lunch boxes, and remembering to put one on my own chair too.

with all of my <3 for your joy,

love and wisdom walk into a bar

love and wisdom joyfuel 2015 2

Dearest Joyfuelers,

My son brought this exquisite bloom-within-a-bloom flower back for me from a walk he went on with my husband. My boy-sage–now 6– smiled ear-to-ear as he handed me a double-blossoming flower only a few minutes after I penned the beautiful gem of love/wisdom from Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj into my journal. To me, the double flower–name unknown to me–embodies Maharaji’s beautiful words.

Love says “I am everything”.
Wisdom says “I am nothing”.
Between the two my life flows.

The moment my son gave it to me, my breath was captured; I felt my knees buckle to grace–and I held on tightly to my son–my teacher– giving over to the splendor of duality … to everything.

I knew his timely gift had to be shared with you. For joy. I don’t need–or even want–to know the name of the flower. Simply knowing that it is, is knowing enough.

my <3 and wishes for your joy, becky
